Agents Giving is the recognised charity for the UK property industry, helping both national and local causes and raising awareness across the UK. They encourage and support agents’ fundraising efforts to help raise as much money for their causes as possible and do a fantastic job of showcasing the charitable efforts happening throughout the year.
We’re extremely proud and overjoyed to announce that we’ve been nominated for the “Best Creative Fundraising Award” for our imaginative and different fundraising ideas, and the “Special Fundraising Award” for our determination and motivation during our Big Blind Run challenge last month.
The Big Blind Run was a 600km challenge, aiming to cover the distance from Brighton to Belfast, inspired by our friend Bill and in support of Time to Talk Befriending. Our hope is to raise £10,000 this year to support Time to Talk Befriending and the amazing services they offer to the older community in Sussex.

Each year Homewise supports a number of charities through volunteering time, sponsorships, donations and fundraising opportunities, but this was our biggest to date! As a result of the whole team participation, determination and drive, we achieved over 950km – actually covering Brighton to Berlin over two main events.
Our staff of over 60 people took part in a 10K coastal walk along the Worthing seafront or joined the 10K RSBC Blindfold Run at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to raise awareness and funds for Time to Talk Befriending. And we didn’t stop there, holding the first ever Homewise Halloween day of fun(draising) in the office and raising almost £400 that day alone!

It’s not too late to donate! We’re aiming to raise £10,000 to fund a permanent member of staff at Time to Talk Befriending, enabling them to run their scheme in Worthing on a permanent basis, and we still have a way to go.
