How to join a WhatsApp video call | Homewise

Written by Rachel | Thu, Dec 1, '22

So, your call has been arranged with your personal Customer Account Manager, and you've asked for it to be on WhatsApp. It's really easy to set up, especially if you already have the app on your phone. Accepting the WhatsApp video call is as easy as accepting any other call on your mobile phone.

WhatsApp video calls are easy to receive

On the day of your call, you'll see an incoming WhatsApp video call request on your mobile phone.

If your phone is locked, you can swipe up to accept the call. Or if it is unlocked you can tap 'Answer' to receive the call.

You can turn off your video at any time, but you will still be able to see your Homewise consultant.

If you're new to WhatsApp, there is lots of information to be found on the WhatsApp FAQ. You'll also be able to familiarise yourself with the functions of the program.

Did you know we primarily use Zoom?

Using Zoom for our calls means we can speak with you on a larger screen, which is really helpful when we're showing you information and potential properties online.

It's quick and easy to use, and you don't need to install anything! You can join the appointment from any device, like an iPad or computer, and you do not need an account to attend the meeting. Plus, we can easily invite your loved ones to 'conference' in and join the consultation too.

If you've changed your mind and would prefer to speak with your Customer Account Manager over Zoom, simply call our team and we'll send you the details!
