We’re a family-run business
You may not know that Homewise has been growing for more than 40 years and continues to be a family-run business today. Back in 1971, founder Reg Neal wanted to find a solution for his friends who were struggling to find the right home for their retirement. After buying and renovating some suitable properties, he sold a lifetime lease to his friends at a significantly reduced cost. From this, the Homewise Home for Life Plan was born.
Fast forward 40 years and we continue to help people enjoy their retirement by finding them the perfect home. Today the company remains in the Neal family with Reg’s sons Mark, Justin and Sean all on board helping the company to grow and adapt.
Family values are the core of our business and we love what we do. We’ve dedicated ourselves to helping thousands of people have the chance to retire happy, and will continue to revolutionise retirement in the UK.

Our Home Moving Team have been helping people buy, sell and move for nearly a decade, it’s part of the free service we offer to our Home for Life Plan customers.

We are always fundraising for great causes
Our fabulous team regularly get hands on with local community projects and take on extreme challenges, like climbing Mount Snowdon and the recent Oarsome Challenge. We rowed over 200 miles raising nearly £8,000 for AHOY and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Each year we select a national charity to support, extending our company values to inspire and empower people in their everyday lives. In our Homewise 2017 Charity and Social survey, we asked our team which charity they’d like to see the money we raise on dress-down Fridays go to, with everyone’s weekly £1 going to Mind.
