We hold ourselves to ethical standards and, it's simple, if it's not good enough for our loved ones then it's not good enough for you.
We go to great lengths to ensure that your interests are protected throughout every stage of your journey with us.
Everyone must receive independent legal advice and the Home for Life Plan legal paperwork requires your independently chosen solicitor to explain the plan to you.
They must sign a certificate to confirm that they have done this, certifying that you are happy with the plan and that you understand its implications, and we will not legally exchange contracts with you without this signed certificate.
Homewise & regulation
A common misconception is that Homewise lends or provides financial support, but this is not true. We provide property products and services.
We do not offer any form of financial service or lending (like a loan, mortgage, or equity release), this is why our service does not fall under the remit of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The FCA is the UK regulator for companies providing financial products. As Homewise enables property transactions to take place that are free from mortgages, interest, or lending, our service is not considered to be a financial product. Put simply, we do not lend money. We buy your chosen property, and you buy a Home for Life Plan to live there.
